Throughout the years, the Lord has done much work in me. In my growing up meeting with the local church since I was very young, the Lord has gradually revealed Himself to me through His Word and through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. It is the Lord Himself and the seeing of the goal of His economy, His plan, the New Jerusalem, the ultimate mingling of God and man that have attracted me. Some may ask, “What is the ultimate mingling of God and man?” This is when man is saturated with God in his entire being until he is so full of God that he is one with God but not in the Godhead (Ephesians 3:19; John 17:21). As a college student, I'm sure that by His mercy, I have seen a glimpse of God's economy through the speakings of this ministry. With time and growth, I know that the Lord will be faithful to show me a fuller and more detailed picture of His economy.
With God's eternal economy in view and continually reading this ministry, I have learned to develop a sweet and intimate relationship with my Lord since the beginning of my college years. I appreciate knowing that my experience and relationship with Him is determined by my realization of who He is. If I just see Him as a Person sitting in heaven answering my prayers, that is how I would approach Him. Yet, this is not my God because my God is not an objective Person to me; rather, He is subjective to me in my experience. Day by day, when I come and open my heart to Him, He dispenses and infuses Himself into me. When I breathe Him by calling upon His name, “O Lord Jesus!” He is so refreshing and supplying to me (Romans 10:12). How dear this One is to me. He knows me inside and out, and how intimate it is that in the same way, I am also getting to know Him. When He comes back, because I know Him in such a way, He will not be a stranger to me. Oh, how I love this One and day by day He is becoming more real to me!
